Chris Watts is a Melbourne-based artist, Archibald Prize finalist and singer-songwriter whose creativity moves between music and contemporary painting.

Originally emerging through music, Watts toured nationally and supported international artists including Elton John and Robbie Williams, while also directing his own music videos. His background in music continues to shape his artistic style, bringing rhythm, emotion and attitude into every piece.

Inspired by the Pop Art movement and artists such as Andy Warhol, Watts creates bold, vibrant works that explore fashion, confidence, identity and modern culture through striking colour and large-scale impact. His work blends contemporary portraiture with a playful yet expressive visual language that has become distinctly his own.
